Vtechno is a Bangalore based online training provider.  The owner Zia is very dynamic and hardworking.  They have good pool of senior professionals who teach different IT subjects like SAP, Datawarehousing.  We interviewed Zia, a very energetic lady who runs the institute. They just started 2 months before and already earned $7,650 from 10 students

How did you start your business in training?

I was really not satisfied at my job and wanted to do something on my own.  I knew lot of senior IT professionals around Hyderabad through my friends network who wanted to do some freelancing.  Online training was good choice for me.  But I was not getting much leads from US in first couple of months and then one my relatives mentioned about learnersParadise.  I signed up with them in late October, and after that business picked up really well.  

How did you manage to get so many students so quickly?

I get in touch with the learner and schedule a demo very quickly soon after they post. After the demo I send couple of messages through PMB and try to close the deal. What I have seen is unless i schedule a demo within couple of days, learners interest usually wears off.  Sometimes contacting learner gets difficult, so I give them my sms, ph#, skype, yahoo ids and hoping they would contact me.  I also get their mobile #, and send sms just 30 mins before the demo as a reminder.

Features Launched

Showing status online on your profile — We added a chat feature where potential learners can chat with you right from your profile when they are visiting your profile. This is the best time to close a deal with him/her.  To keep the status online, you need to stay logged in and a green button appears next to your photo on your profile.  Some of the mentors already got good results.  To enable chat feature, log in and add chat link from "My home page".  It involves a 1 minute sign up with the chat software provider userplane.com   The feature is very easy to use.  We recommend whenever you are before computer, just keep a LearnersParadise page open and refresh page every half an hour to prevent cookie not to expire.
